Thank you!
August 1st, 2011

Well, the event is over, the dust has settled and the organizers have hidden under the porch for a couple of weeks to recuperate. Southern Gothic Festival 2 was a great success and we were so happy to be able to show we'd learned a little from our past mistakes, and that this is an event that people REALLY care about. This years event was bigger and better than last years, and make no mistake, that's a tradition that we're going to stick with for a long, long time.

Our special thanks go out to:

Our wonderful venue owners - Stu at the Howlin Wolf, Candy at the Round Up and Brix at the Dragon's Den for continuing to put up with us.

The kids from Boise - Ginger, Hatter and their posse, for coming such a long way and being so supportive.

Brian from Sighco Graphics and Miles for their invaluable support.

Everybody who came a long, long way just to witness this whole crazy train ride.

All of our amazing bands and DJs!

and especially

Thanks to the GREAT and MIGHTY Hurricane Gods for not smiting us, once again, despite the fact that we insist on running a Festival in July!

We'll be back next year for SOUTHERN GOTHIC FESTIVAL 3, July 12th - 15th, 2012! See you then!

That's right, its a Walk Off
June 30th, 2011

When we said fashion for SoGo, we meant it. Saturday night wear your best stuff because at midnight we're clearing the stage to see just how good looking our festival attendees are. It doesn't cost a thing to enter, and the winners, one boi, one grrl get a fifty dollar bar tab on us. Those who know New Orleans can tell you, you can go a long way on a fifty dollar bar tab.

Whose gonna call this sucker?  We have a super secret celebrity judge whose coming down just to see what we're made of.

Southern Gothic Festival. There will be hotness.

T-Shirts on Sale Now!
June 30th, 2011

T-shirts are available now in our online store!  They're designed and produced by the fantastic people at Sighco Graphics (www.sighco.com).  Sighco Graphics are Scene owned and operated, and if you're lucky enough to live in Portland, Oregon, you can stop in at them at the Arkham Bazaar.  One day we'll make them move back to New Orleans (probably at gunpoint), but till then give them all the support you can.

It's important to note that this year we are doing pre and post ordering for this years Southern Gothic Shirts, but we will NOT have very many for sale at the Festival.  Why is this?  Ordering only what the demand requires cuts back on waste and keeps Southern Gothic cheap for you!  Waste not, want not and get your shirts online now!
